Entrepreneurial decisions involve starting a business or seizing opportunities for commercial success, often requiring taking risks. Decision-making is especially challenging in uncertain times because entrepreneurs think differently from managers. This research explores how Big Data (BD) and artificial intelligence (AI) can enhance decision-making in innovation and entrepreneurship. The study introduces the Enhanced Squirrel Search Flexible Artificial Neural Networks (ESS-FANN) to predict market trends. It uses historical business data, such as sales, growth rates and market indicators, which are preprocessed through cleaning and normalization. Features are extracted using Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA) and ESS selects the most important features. FANN recognizes emerging market trends with high accuracy of 0.88, precision of 0.85, recall of 0.82 and F1-score of 0.83, helping entrepreneurs navigate complex market patterns.
