ABSTRACT

Nowadays, the development of social science and technology is very fast, and all kinds of new digital products emerge as the times require. In terms of various research directions, in this paper, research on the modeling and manufacturing of freeform curved surface based on five-coordinate numerical control was proposed. This is also an important research direction of CAD/CAM technology. The research method was mainly based on the five-coordinate numerical control method, and this technology was used to enhance the quality of each process in the process of freeform curved surface modeling and manufacturing. By analyzing the relationship between the tool contacts and the tool position points on two adjacent tool paths, error compensation is introduced to improve the calculation accuracy of the corresponding tool position points and the error value expression is obtained. During the verification of the algorithm, the arrangement factors of the sequence and the surface modeling were verified. It is concluded that our research is feasible.

Keywords: five-coordinate numerical control; free curve; curved surface
